Impro(ving) again

I tried to participate a contest for a new drawer for a Finnish webcomic but like usually, I had problems with the timing... so I failed greatly in the end and didn't send anything. But! I did make some fan art of it anyway (though I didn't dare to post them all either) :

Errh... I'm on fire now! That's why it's maybe a bit confusing (?) for non-Finnish people I'm going to make this a Kupoli's Impromanga III-entry. Just because I feel like it - though I got a piece of inspiration from someone's entry :P. (What's the Impromanga I'm speaking of? I was cleaning my folders when I realised I had many earlier versions of my random (fan) Impro page; the final version is also on my dA to see.

Stumbling

Somehow, I almost forgot I had this sketch blog!

But I have a proper excuse! I moved...

...and got a new, shorter (though, it's still long) haircut and earrings! (These two have nothing to do with a proper excuse I mentioned, but anyway...)

A sketch I drew on a train and colored with a couple of markers I had with me - there were just a few shades of green and brown there. :D

Does someone else have this habbit of doing something - which, for me, is either drawing or walking in a circle - when speaking on a phone?
Sipulihead = a strange combination of the words sipuli (onion in English) and head. Sketched on a piece of marked envelope, actually... Don't ask.

Small things

I'm so ridiculously happy I can't describe it in words. I have been getting this feeling often lately. (It almost makes me feel like there will be some kind of bad grand fall waiting for me. xD)

Anyway, there isn't a special reason for the feeling: Let's just say everyone I know is such a lovely person and overall life has been pretty fair to me. Yeah.

On my way

What a busy week/summer it is: I must post several papers in order to get my student place, I have to sign the papers for my future residence (aka. a student flat in the apartment building) in three days or otherwise I'll not get it, I have a huge load of work to do, I must buy some (well, a lot of) basic items for a new household, there is a couple of parties I have to be in, I guess I should find a map if I want to take part in Animecon (and not to get lost, that is - also, how come I still lack a proper map of Helsinki even though it's probably one of the easiest thing to get and I have visited the place now and then?)... not to mention I should make up my mind about the day, too...

... the list goes on.

Luckily my incoherent ranting doesn't. So be at ease.

"Oh no! W-what's happening?!"

I felt like drawing a character or two of mine a bit more realistic style than I usually do. I actually like the result, I might upload some of these later on dA, too.
